Hey everyone, I've been doing a lot of research and still haven't come to a conclusion.

I am almost done piecing together my 16" Recce build. Just waiting on my Santan Tactical Pillar Reciever set.

I am at an impasse for optics. I currently have  TR24 with bobro mount, but am debating going with a TA11 ACOG or possibly a 1-6x TR25.

My range is currently looking at extending itself to 500+ yards and I want an optic that will allow me to reach out to that distance with reasonable precision but also allow me to engage targets within 50 yards for competition use.

Lastly, my next purchase will be a 14.5" PWS MK114.

My questions are as follows: should I keep the TR24 for the Recce? Put it on the 14.5"? Or get 2 entirely different optics all together for each rifle?

I'd put the TR24 on the 14.5" and get the Vortex Razor 1-6x for your 16".

Interesting! With regards to The BDC sub tensions on the Razor, what distance do they represent at each distance? They appear to be smaller than the ACOG models?

the JM-1 bdc  goes out to 550 yards. The mill version goes out to 800 yards.
I run my TR 24 in classes and 3gun matches with less then 300yd shots. For everything else, I run the vortex or Meopta 1-4x

Thank you for your input! Ironically enough, I just watched your Razor review 30 minutes ago!

Does anyone know the size of the dot on the Razor? I saw on Superset's review that the Razor was Red Dot fast at close range. Does anyone else find that this is the case?
