What would be a good ACOG to run on a 6.8 with a 16" barrel? I was I interested in the ACOG/RMR versions. Any help would be appreciated.

Is that my only option?  Can I run one that says it is for 5.56 or would there be a issue with using those ones on the 6.8 platform?

110 pro hunters are "probably" close to 150 grain 308 or 75 gr 223 otm the ACOG isn't a precision scope anyway...

For hunting I go with a 2-8 or 2-7 VXR myself

This is the correct answer. As far as I know all the ACOGs are the same within 300m anyway though (the illuminated part of the reticle), well, maybe not that TA33 that's calibrated for 300BO. If you're regularly shooting from 400-800 and need that level of precision, well, you probably should be choosing something besides the ACOG anyway.

I used to really worry about mismatched BDC issues on my ACOGs, then I realized that considering the limitations of the magnification, the precision of the rifle and ammo, my own marginal abilities, and how similar all the BDCs are anyway, i was really making mountains of molehills.
