I need help picking an optic for my blind ass eyes. I need something with a chunky reticle, bright at night, potential with magnifier and is durable. I am cross eye dominant and my right eye is useless as every time i try to shoulder and use optics, my left eye takes over. i've had a pro and it was alright, switched to eotech exps 2 but could not get a good cheek weld. switched to a trijicon tr24 and did alright but the reticle is small.  my rifle set up is mostly a recce/cqb as they call it. i can't see past 200 yards 250 max.

What about the Trijicon Accupower 1-4 illuminated crosshair reticle with BDC? I have been eyeing one myself.

I'm sure someone will come along with experience concerning the Accupower reticle options.... Subscribing to see what turns up. Good luck!

Since you are left eyed, have you tried shooting lefty?  I have the same problem (right handed/let eyed) and over time I have taught myself to shoot left (mostly with milsurps and .22s).

The crosshair on the segmented dot is pretty fine, but the out "dot ring" really draws the eye.  It can get BRIGHT if you need it to.

I would comment more, but I just got it yesterday.  If you decide on an accupoint, be sure to call cstactical, liberty optics, and georgiaoptics and ask for their best prices.  If you are looking for a mount, the Aero Precision ultralight SPR mount is damn nice (but hard to find, I know where there is one in stock).
