Buddy has one. I've shot it numerous times and have enjoyed it. Very clear glass. No issues with tracking or repeatability.

Hope this helps.

I have one and I love it.  Very clear glass and well built.  Zero's  quickly and holds.

I have one and have been really happy with it. Super clear glass and the reticle is great. In direct AZ sun it can wash out the illumination a bit, but with the etched reticle it really isn't a problem. I didn't want to spend the $$ on an acog for a fun gun, and have been extremely happy with the optic.

I liked my 3x good enough to buy a 1x also.

Anyone have an opinion on the Spitfire vs. the Primary Arms 4x prism scope?

Just got the Spitfire 3x in the mail today and mounted it to my 20".
I have to say it makes a great first impression.
Glass is extremely clear. reticle is very crisp and clear. the illumination is very nice but not needed for daytime use
as the reticle is very clear without it.
I have looked at a lot of photo's of the optic online and none do it justice.

The thing is a bit heavy, thats not a negative to me but it may be something to consider, it is compact however.
all control seem crisp and tactile. overall seems well built.

Can't wait to get some rounds down range with it and take it hunting.
time will tell if it's as impressive long term as it is upon first impression.

If the thing proves durable, I will be getting the 1X for my carbine

I had one on a 6720, I liked it and it worked well. It was heavy though. I am not an expert on glass, I thought it was nice.

I have the 1x and am thinking about getting the 3x as well. I have looked at the 3x several times at a local shop.

The 1x is great and I think I like it better than the TA44 I had. Even though it has a 3-4 inch eye relief you can position it much further forward sacrificing very little FOV. Which is awesome because I have astigmatism in both eyes. I can use it just like I would a red dot.

In good light I compared the 3x to a TA33 and it looked every bit as good. Heavier and probably not as tough but for 1/3 the price a great deal.

I'd also be interested in hearing someone's opinion on this.

I have a Spitfire 1x.  For what it is the Spitfire is a decent optic.  It is NOT an Aimpoint or Eotech and definitely not an ACOG.  I like how clear the class is.  No tinting that my eyes are able to detect.  Very crisp reticle and when illuminated it does not bloom on the highest settings in low light.  There is a slight fisheye effect around the edges.  The focus ring helps bring it into very sharp focus if like me you have contacts/glasses. The 500 hour battery life is sort of a joke in a world of 30,000 hour Aimpoints.  They say it has a longer life on the lowest setting but not low enough for use with NV devices so YMMV.  The etched reticle obviates this shortcoming since most users would use it during the day.  For a Chinese made optic it appears to be solid enough for most users, including myself.  I own Aimpoints and Eotechs and had an ACOG or two in the past and like them very much.  Like I said this is not in the same league as those but it's particularly less expensive than an ACOG. Not so much when compared to an AIMPOINT PRO or even an EoTech 512.  I have read some reviews that state it can be used on ACOG mounts like the ones from ADM.  I have not tried that personally so YMMV.  I mounted mine on an M&P-15 22.  It works really well on that rifle so there it will stay.
