I'm thinking about putting one on my VX-R Patrol and wanted to see if anybody has used them. I read a few reviews where the user stripped out the mounting screw. I was curious if it was a design flaw or just user installation error. Thanks in advance for any info.

I use one on my 3 gun rifle. Never had any issues.

Have a few of em. Zero problems in a few years worth of usage.

I have two of them on my 3 gun rifles and they work great. Never had any issues and highly recommend them.

I have had couple of "Cattails" from Charlie Drissel they worked pretty good.

I read somewhere where there are some unequal torque forces applied to the power ring using these kinds of adaptations that might damage the mechanism over time?
