| I finally settled on a vortex hs-t 6-24x50.then placed my order online. I was then sent an email a couple of hours later saying the scope was on backorder. A quick glance through the forums and I found out this is a fairly common practice with swfa as their order and inventory systems are not connected. Have not called swfa to discuss this yet but i will. My question is, does anyone have any recent experience with swfa and vortex to provide a timeframe as to how long this backorder may take? |

I would call Scott at Liberty optics. He shows it in stock for 629.99 here.

| I had Hornady Superformance 22-250 ammunition that was back-ordered. I was disappointed when I realized it was back ordered, but decided to wait it out for the sake of learning. Took 5 months but it did come in. No lead times were given to me but i did not inquire about them either. |

Just got an email that the SWFA 10x42 I ordered SAT is on BO as well. Called and they said they should be in this week as long as customs goes smoothly. So much for trying it out this weekend . I understand inventory fluctuation, but to have it happen this often is ridiculous.

| I didnt feel like waiting so I cancelled the order on monday morning and placed the order with midway. It has already shipped and should be here by friday according to the tracking number. The price was the same but I did get free shipping with midway. Not a slam against swfa. They seem to have good customer service. I just wish they would get their inventory linked to their orders. |
