So I know when they announced the ACO we basically all gave them a big frownie face like lolwhut? based on the price and the battery kife. as far as we were concerned it just didn't fill a role that wasn't already taken care of in a better way.

but has anyone actually used one yet?

Curious also, I really can't think of a reason to own one.

I just hope they don't change the pricing on the pro (unless it's a drop) before February so I can buy my first one.

there are black friday deals coming, and some sites even offer it at about $360 right now, just because. you should probably buy it before january if you're worried about the potential price increase.

that's because on paper there isn't one. but for all we know we're missing out on a great optic (we're probably not).

they're sold out on BCM's site. so someones bought them. but i haven't seen a single review thread on here. or a review on any of the gun sites. google comes up with nothing for reviews. heck i can't find anything new about it since pretty much the october 21st  press release.

i can't see them raising the price of the PRO at this point, because people don't want the ACO n the PRO wouldn't be worth it if they raised the price. which just means way less sales for aimpoint.

I dont understand why the ACO was even made. It sells for $393 ... its basically a gutted PRO and since you can get a PRO for $400 all day long,  I dont see this optic taking off unless the price drops to $250 and under range.

Keep in mind the PRO MSRP is $463 i believe and it can be had under $400.   I could see the ACO selling well if the street price is near $300.

ACO hasn't come close to that price yet though. They're still sitting at msrp.

Exactly. So most people aren't going to chance $400 on it. There aren't any reviews yet after a month. I picked up a brand new pro for $362 yesterday no coupons or anything like that. And everyone seems to love the pro. So we can pick up the proven optic with a higher msrp from the same manufacturer for less.

I don't have money to burn, if the aco is worse than the pro n I paid $30 more for it than the pro, I'd be pissed.

The PRO is much better than the ACO. Way more battery life, Way better  included mount. Has NVG settings. I can see the ACO competing closer to the neighborhood of the Vortex Strikefire, The Lucid HD7 and competing succesfully if it was priced around $250
