Hi Everyone,
Went to the range last night to try out my new Eotech. I noticed that at first it was way off almost 20clicks. I ended up using my irons to get it close but one thing I find weird is that it was way to the right and I changed it left by adjust right. The grouping are coming out amazing I just need to go back with a spotting scope and a bench to get it more accurate. Here are some questions. I also found it to be not so bad with my astigmatism. 1) When mounting the XPS to the Colt Troy Socom rail there is movement forward and back does it matter it is in either one before tightening?? 2) When using the lower portion of the ring for the 7yard how much higher would it be at 10y 3) Is it just me or is it hard to see the dot at 50y without a magnifier? Thanks T |

Push the crossbar all the way forward in the rail slot when mounting the optic never push it back in the slot because of the recoil of the rifle.
There will be minimal difference in 7-10 yards to really worry about it. No you don't need a magnifier to shoot at 50 yards unless you want one. Are you using a orange or red target, if so try using a black target to make the dot stick out better. I shoot at 50 and 100 with my magnifier flipped to the side on one with the two dots. |
