First post here on the site and just decided to show people how to chop down a carry handle into a BUIS that have trouble viewing what to do vs. pics. This is my First attempt with a real carry handle vs. airsoft knock-offs. this is a video i made the other day, didnt take me too long and not to shabby for my first attempt at this. I have a full size carry handle but bought a used mil-spec one off ebay for 30$ including shipping. i threw it on the band saw figuring it was quicker but still couldnt get through the metal bar that attaches to the rail, so i still had to resort to the hacksaw.

On a serious note, I was actually planning to do this but decided I would rather have a flip up sight. It just kind of got in the way of the red dot, Also if I was ever to put any magnified optics (highly unlikely for this rifle) on the rifle I would have to take it off. But I love the A2 sight picture for purely irons. |
