| This will be going on my 11.5" noveske SBR. My eyes aren't great and I have terrible astigmatism, so that's why I'm opting for a variable instead of a red dot. I found the original vortex razor hd 1-4x for $1k but with opticsplanet 10% off today I could get the hd2 1-6x for just a few hundred more. These are heavy optics but would the 1-6x just be overkill on a 11.5" build? The only other one I'm looking at is the trijicon accupoint 1-4x for $775 from fedtactical. Their warranty definitely doesn't stack up against the vortex though. What do you guys think? Any other good recomendations in this price range are appreciated. |
| actually a weird addition as well. I'm eyeballing this Vixen VII 1-4 on optics planet. or VIII 1-6. Unconditional lifetime warranty just like vortex, and i've always heard they make incredible spotting scopes and binoculars. I didn't even know they got into the scope game. Anyone try one of these yet? |
