Hey guys, I have an Eotech EXPS 3-0 that I really like, was curious about the -2 reticule that has two 1 moa dots, anyone have any firsthand experience with it?  Any pros/cons vs the single dot setup? Thanks

If you do a Google search on the 2 dot version you'll find reviews (one below).  As I'm sure you know, the top dot is for a 50/200 yd zero with 5.56mm 55gr and the lower dot should put you at 500yds.  Bottom of the circle is a 7 yd zero.
Personally, this doesn't brother me, put some find it a tad too busy of a reticle.  One reviewer speaks endless about its attributes and then concludes that he sold it and bought the single dot version.

I don't think this is anymore complicated than one's personal views of a reticle, any reticle, and how you plan to use it.   Think ACOG reticle variants and the never ending debate on what's ultimately just a personal preference.

I guess one could safely conclude this -- if you don't think you'll be shooting targets at 500 yds with a red dot sight, you probably don't need the 2 dot version.

Concur with the post above plus when you are shooting reflexively/instinctively, with only one dot, you'll be using the right (only) one.

I've got a two-dot XPS on my .300blk SBR, due to the ballistic difference of subsonics.  This lets me have a zero for supers and a rough zero for subs without adjusting, or have multiple range zeros for subs.

Hmm I killed a coyote at 350 yds with my single dot, good enough to not need the bdc function of the -2 reticule?
