I am in an optics decision. The aimpoint is nice and great but I keep wanting to switch to one eye closed and my astigmatism kicks in. I shot an eotech the same day and had a better group up close but more consistent with an aimpoint. I can't decide if I want to keep it or trade/sell for a 1x4 or an eotech. I love the battery life though for sure.

I like my aimoints and my eotech, but prefer to run magnifiers behind them, variable optics are also very versatile. I'd consider selling it and get a used TR-24 1-4, from your post, It doesn't sound like you'll gain anything by going from an aimpoint to eotech.

I like to have Aimpoints and EOTechs. I don't even know how I used red dot's before I got contacts to correct my astigmatism. It's been great ever since. I prefer my EOTech reticle now, but it's always wise to keep an Aimpoint or two around.
