I have a Leupold Mark AR 1.5-4 that the eyepiece lock ring continually loosens on.  I notice it's backed off enough for the eyepiece to start to rotate within 10 rounds.  I've considered a strap wrench, but that seems ridiculous and I'm not sure if loctite or staking it in some way is even a good idea.  Thoughts?  Currently on a SIG 556.

Are you rotating the ring clockwise or CC?

Have you called Leupold customer support?  They should be able to help you out.

Don’t use a wrench, and you certainly do not need Loctite. After you snug up the lock ring, give the ocular a small turn to tighten everything up. This is what I do with my Leupold scopes.

That plan sounds like a winner.  I'll give it a shot before getting stupid.  Thanks!
