I am new to optics for the AR :)  Looking for an all-in-one scope.  I know it won't be perfect for everything!!  I will be using this AR for bench target shooting (distance up to 300), shooting drills on multiple targets (10 yds and up), and hunting deer up to 200 yards.  Will the scope for these purposes?

Thanks in advance for any help and/or experiences!!

You should be GTO with that scope a QD scope mount and a folding buis. Then all your bases will be covered.

I use the same scope on one of my AR's and I am able to hit a 6 inch steel target at 300 yards. At 1x, it works like a red dot for me.

Would you recommend MOA or MIL

I went MOA on mine simply because that's what I was used to.

Until someone makes a 1-16x24mm that is 10" long that weighs 15ozs and gathers light like it has a 50mm objective, there is no "do it all scope". I use a 2MOA RDS, 1-4x and 4-16x on the same rifle. The 1-4x is probably the best all around optic but it wont be the best for bench rest target shooting. Hitting a B27 size target @300 and a deer @200, can be done fairly easy with 1-4x. The 1x works perfectly fine for "both eyes open CQB/HD whatever you want to call it" style shooting. I find myself using my T1 less and less, FWIW.

I prefer mrads over MOA. If you are just starting out I think mils is the way to go. However, both work.

I went MOA, I don't have any experience with the MIL system.

I'd reccomend the 2.5-10x offering, and if need be, a QD mount w/ flip-up sights. Another option would be the 2.5-10 w/ offset sights/offset red dot. A 4x on deer at 200yds can sometimes be an issue when you're in the timber...ask me how I know haha.
