I put a new scope mount on my AR and I'm going out to zero tomorrow.  In an effort to save ammo and make it easier I'm going to start at 50yards.  If the scope is 2in above the bore when I move out to 100yards will I be 1in high?

And at least 20 more can be found by entering the term "ballistics calculator" into Google.

Additionally, there are many ballistics apps available on ITunes for the IPhone. I imagine that there are apps available for other phones too.

KISS "keep it simple shooter".  zero 1.5 inches low at 25 yards this should put you very close to a 100 yard zero, then fine tune at 100.
