I just finished a palmetto state armory build.
Here is the link to my upper.
http://palmettostatearmory.com/index.php/psa-m4-16-cmv-cl-stripped-upper-with-bcg-and-charging-handle-1.html

Basically I am looking at rear sights because my upper already has the front sight post. I have read from searching that the Troy flip up sights are the really good. I really do not want to spend that amount of money right now on a sight, but Troy also makes a fixed rear sight. I can order it for $53 instead of $100 for the folding. I don't think I will be adding an aimpoint to this rifle in the future but if I did, I would want my backup sights to be set up for cowitness.

Here is the link to the sight.

What is the opinion on this sight?
Will it work with my rifle?

Thank you

I can't personally recommend that troy sight. But I would recommend that you consider Midwest Industries, Daniel Defense, Magpul and Yankee Hill as well

Midwest Industries Fixed sight
Midwset Industries Low Profile flip up rear
Midwest Industries standard profile
Daniel Defense Fixed rear
Magpul MBUS PRO metal rear flip sight
Magpul MBUS
Yankee Hill Low Profile flip
Yankee Hill Fixed rear sight

those all look like great options but i don't really want to spend more than about $60. I can get a used daniel defense rear fixed for $60. Is that a good deal?

Give the money to DD.  Better product and saves you from supporting troy.

Just curious.  Why the hate on Troy?  Not backing their products or what ?

I'd like to know also.  I called them several times for info before my purchase and they were always friendly and helpful.

I'm not going to get into company hiring policies, since this isn't the place for it.

I have both DD and Troy fixed rear sights, and they are both quality products. The Troy is slightly less expensive ($65 vs $73 MSRP) and it is easier to adjust (you can use a coin), but I'm pretty sure the DD is lighter (1.7oz vs ???) and it uses a standard A2 aperture. DD also uses helicoil inserts which isn't really an issue as long as you don't install it with a 3/8" impact gun. Neither has elevation adjustment, if that matters.
