I have an old 4x redfield, wanting to put on my daughters' rifle. Not sure which one but glass is somewhat foggy. Any way to clear it or chunk it?

There is a company out there that fixes the old redfields but I can't remember the name. If your Google fu is strong you should be able to find them.

even if you defog it, you still have humid oxgyen filled air inside.  It means you have an oring seal leak or something.  It needs to be repaired and repurged with nitrogen.  Depending on what  you paid originally, might want to look at some new scopes with newer technologies.

Your right, it's been on a bolt action for 25 years but started getting worse about 2 years ago. Time to look for something else.
