| As I was shooting yesterday, I noticed my front MBUS sight was difficult to locate when shooting against a black stopper at the range. Has anyone added anything to the sight to make it brighter or easier to locate? I.e. fluorescent paint or something light that. |

seen people paint it (or the front sight on a handgun) before. personal preference really.
or you could go with one of these: chevron front sight |

Nail polish works (go raid your wife/girlfriends stuff) although you may have to touch it up every so often.
I've found those automotive touch up pens in the local wally world to work well also, although they are more expensive. Tougher paint too. Of course there are also various manufactures of brightly colored sight paints as well. Or you can even find a multitude of optional styled or colored front sight posts. Any standard front sight post should work fine with the MBUS. I actually have a front MBUS I no longer use with a KNS precision "crosshair" front post. I liked it a lot, however, when facing targets in brush or other busy backgrounds the fine crosshairs would be easily lost for me. |
