Hey I got an Aimpoint Pro for Christmas and would like to know how to zero it in. I have already installed it on my Colt LE6920. This is my first optic and I would like to know what the best way to zero it in is. Thanks.

if you already have iron BUIS sights and  you should,  just install the red dot and adjust it till the dot is right on top of the front sight post.  then you can go to the range and fine tune.  This will get you real close before you use any ammo.

Thanks. That is a great idea. I have the Magpul BUIS. I will have to try this.

I used some match ammo to do mine.  My thinking was they red dot is already 2moa and if I added some surplus or non match stuff in there, on top of some human error, I could be all over the place.  At least with the match I could do some 4 or 5 shot groups and get pretty close to centering it. Probably wasn't needed but I think I saved some time.

Mine wasn't even on paper at 25 meters when I first mounted it. I found nice sized stick and laid it on a bare spot of the berm at about 20 yards so I could see where the impacts were. Took a few rounds and about 20 or so clicks of right windage and about 12 clicks of lower elevation to hit that stick. Then just a few more rounds to get a 25 meter zero on paper. A few more clicks at 100 meters and it's more dead-on than I can usually be.

Ditto.

Zeroing the iron sights on my 2013 LE6920 was a breeze.  One click up, two clicks left...but the PRO wasn't even close. I put 6 rounds down range...and not one hit the paper.  I then adjusted it to the iron sights and that got me to within a couple of clicks in both directions to zero.

My video below should help you out.  If you have additional questions just post them below and myself or some of the other good folks here will help you out.

Solid combination with the PRO and 6920 btw...

Read the instructions would be step number 1.
