Quoted:
Dot moves DOWN, so your aiming point is low. You are forced to move the rifle UP to compensate. Meaning your shots will hit HIGHER. Makes sense, Normally when you see an arrow and it saying a direction thats the way the dot goes, These are professional so I guess your right but Im surprise NOOO ONE has gotten confused on the issue. Maybe my other optics were just cheaper because they are move in the direction of the Label. |

Right refers to the POI in relation to the POA. So if you hit left of target, by moving the dial right you bring the crosshairs to the bullet... As written you're wanting the POI to move right. |

I know I posted 3 threads but what do you mean by "Rein" and why is a screenshot of my post in imageshake?? Moderator?? Not being an ass, just didnt get what you meant exactly. I posted in 2 opposite ends of the forum being its late at night and wanted an answer a lil faster than I expected to get it, this stuff tends to eat at me before bed when I see a problem. May just be me, lol... The inverted Dials had me thinking I somehow had a counterfeit which should be impossible. Does anyone actually have an AimPoint who's commented on it "Being Normal" or just common sense guesses...Just need to make sure? |

It's generally frowned upon to have multiple threads running concurrent with the same topic. I just wanted to warn you before any possible intervention by staff. Although I admit my post was a bit vague. I understand what you mean wholeheartedly. I'm one of those people that have to have a resolution to a problem or concern before being able to rack out as well. Quoted:
So if you hit left, you turn the scope dial in the "Left Direction" to make the crosshairs go right, correct? Some scopes dials turn differently but generally if you hit left of target whichever direction is marked right on the dial is the way you want to go. By turning the dial counter-clockwise or "right" as it's marked the crosshairs/dot will move left. Aimpoints follow this. Some chinese red dots are marked for the movement of the dot. |
