im torn between the utg bug buster 3x9x32 and the utg 3x12x44 i want to be able to hit targets from up close to out to about 300yrds the bug buster has a parallax setting to bring it down to 3yrds and the other will bring it to 10yrds any and all advice and suggestions are welcome from brand to magnifications |

Just stay away from cheap UTG stuff. A good low power scope from a reputable manufacturer is a worthwhile investment. Consider the Leupold Mark AR Mod 1 series or the P-223 Nikons, even if you have to run iron sights and save up a bit.
Lucid makes two excellent red dots for under $200 shipped that will let you hit out to 300. |

my issue is my eyesight isnt that good at all so there is no way i could make even a 100yrd shot accurately enough to say kill a deer with iron sights My issue is my eyesight also,I had a Aimpoint PRO,great RD but the dot looks fuzzy to folks like us. I got a razor gen2 1-6, no more problem seeing. I know thats out of your price range but from what the others are telling you about the 1-4s and 1-6s.>Primary arms,Leupold Mark AR Mod 1 series or the P-223 Nikons is dead on. Try not to be in a hurry, save a little longer and get something good, you'll be glad you did. |
