Got an old Eotech from a guy who inherited it. Looks to me like the old 511, manufactured Jan 2001, has the old blister buttons and takes the N Batteries. Any ideas? Am I right?

Looks like it. If you plan to use it, don't keep the batteries in it. They will drain. It may also have a nitrogen leak & be dim in sunlight.
Eotech no longer supports it. Your on your own to fix it. The 511 is the single biggest reason Eotechs have such a bad battery rep. |
