I'm building my first AR and I'm trying to decide on a good flip up rear sight to put on it. It will be riding with a 16 inch barrel, mid length gas system with a A2 front sight. Application: target shooting with some SHTF in mind. I want something durable, secure, with dual apertures and a low profile when folded, so I can run an optic without it in the way. Inexpensive wouldn't hurt either, since I'm a college student Any advice, links, pictures would be greatly appreciated!

I have Troy and Magpul (polymer).  Very happy with both.  The Troy's are solid and the Magpul are the standard for a lightweight option.

However, for my next build, I'm heavily considering the Magpul BUIS Pro.

I used to swear by TROY, but then they changed the clamp design to a less solid design.

I have started using the MBUS Pro, and am more than pleased so far.  The front sight is especially excellent.
