My buddy is trying to sell me a H1 micro. Hes a pretty stand up and trustworthy dude but he received it from a pawn shop.

I have the Serial number to the scope and will be calling monday to verify the number.

I haven't seen any info on fake H1's , are there any things I can check before i call.

I haven't heard of Aimpoint having issues with the H-1 being counterfeited, unlike the ML2 and ML3

I'm calling tomorrow on this. I have a few pics but they wont help much at all. If nothing else i will have the scope in hand Tuesday night to inspect.

I just checked there and a dead give away is any that has a red and green dot, and the adjustment caps. The Aimpoint caps are much lower profile than any of the copies.

There is one on ebay that comes with a fake Larue mount for $30 lol. I am tempted to try that for my m&p 15-22
