So last week I purchased and received my first set of Magpul MBUS Pro back up sights. I was so impressed with them I decided to do a review on how great I thought they were here.
A couple of days later I checked on my thread to see if anyone had commented. I then noticed someone else had done a review on the sights here. In this review I noticed that some people had issues with the rear sight not aligning evenly on each side. I checked mine and noticed I had the same problem.
Ok, sorry for the long back story but that was the issue. Here is the review of Magpul's customer service. On Saturday I sent a message to customer service on their website and I also contacted a Magpul rep here on AR15.com. I was impressed that within half an hour of my pm on this website, the rep had responded to my email, on a Saturday. He assured me that the customer service team would get back to me ASAP on the issue. On Monday morning at 9:07 Magpul time, I was contacted and told that Magpul was aware of the issue and would send me a new rear sight with prepaid postage ASAP. I thanked them and at this point was already extremely impressed with their friendliness and enthusiasm with helping me with this problem. By 8pm the same day, (last night) I had received a notification that Magpul was overnighting me a new sight via fedex. Finally, the next day (today) I received the sight at 11:23am my time. This is what I received in the mail:
As you can see, within a little over 24 hours, Magpul had contacted me on the problem and had a new sight at my door and as you can see from the picture, the new sight fits perfectly. I just wanted to write this to let anyone who didn't already know, what a great company Magpul is and that any product of theirs you purchase will either work, or they will make sure you get one that does work. If only everyone's customer service could be this great! Thanks again to SPQR-476 and the Magpul team! |

I just like to give credit when credit is due and Magpul is one of those companies that seems to genuinely strive to provide top products to customers, even CIVILIAN customers, which is one of my gripes with some (some, not all) companies who have large, lucrative, military contracts. |

Excellent story! Thank you for sharing. I believe in expressing discontent (and why) with manufacturers hoping they will open their stubborn ears and listen for once. I also believe in commending manufacturers for being proactive and EAGER to make things right (that involves them opening their EARS).
