Anyone aware of a lower profile picatinny mount for a Burris fast fire II that doesn't have a huge thumb screw hanging of the side of it?

I want to put one on the top rail of my 22/45 but I don't want that gaudy knob sticking out the side.

ADM makes a nice low mount

Ditch the rail and check out an Allchin mount.  It'll get the sight lower, save a little weight, and get rid of the rail mount altogether.

Allchin Ruger mount

I put a Fastfire III on a S&W 686 using an Allchin mount, and it's top notch.  Will soon do the same with my Mk III.

I've had good luck replacing things like that with a visit to my local Ace Hardware.  I take the optic with the offending part, and dig through the available nuts and bolts in the drawers until i find a solution.
I remember being impressed that EOTech included a hex head screw that sits flush, in addition to the slotted thumbscrew that stuck out like - well, a sore thumbscrew.
