I need to find a scope that has at least x20 power or close that's a good scope for 1500 or less

If you can get by with a 10x the 2.5-10x56 would be even better in dim light.
IIRC the Vietnam era sniper scopes were 10x.
56mm lets in a shitload of light at night.
