| Has anyone had experience with the aimpoint ceu and what is your opinion of it? |
| I own one. Definitely not up to the quality I expect from Aimpoint and the FOV is extremely limited. And it will really only work with an unlimited eye relief red dot sight. I have only played with it in the house but my impressions are that it would take many hours of practice to actually become proficient at hitting targets with it. |

I actually own this too. I owned it before the CEU and then had an opportunity to buy a CEU even though they are restricted to LE Only, and the Aimpoint folks don't count retired LE in that, much to my aggravation. The anglesight is good with the following caveats: CONS: It reverses the image, the mirrors and glass aren't contained inside a housing like the CEU although it is still robust, and when looking through into the optic it adds color and dims the image somewhat. PROS: It is not restricted to LE only. You don't have to remove it to make quick transitions. It actually as a slightly better image due to the fact it is a single mirror rather than taking the light path of the CEU which dims it quite a bit and makes the image appear tunnel like. |

Hook around corner, key tac light. I engaged several times with it. I kept it in my gp pouch below my 3x. I used a twist mount to switch them around behind an m4s |

Botach Tactical has some for sale, and I don't see a restricted item notice like I do on other sites. |

A PD near LA returned ten CEU's to the vendor I wound up buying from and he put them up for sale to civilians. He said Aimpoint was aware he was selling to the public and I registered mine online like a normal sale. It is possible Botach has the same situation. |

I think it's somewhat like the glock maritime spring cups, they're restricted but glock doesn't really care if a civilian buys them. I can't afford the Aimpoint CEU right now. When I can, I hope they are still available. |

Oh and they don't line up with Primary arms sights, so there's that. |
