I am very happy to have my first Aimpoint. I got it used for my first AR 15. I had been using my Vortex SPARC and my Strikefire for my 22s and 30 06. They workd great and I appreciate the company's very good customer service. I really had no reason to venture except all the talk of Eotech and Aimpoint. I was not about to pay full price with two very capable red dots. Anyway, I like it a lot. It seems rugged, simple, consistent and effective. I just ordered the see thru lens caps to replace the bikini caps and the Aimpoint black rubber cover. I also like the mount it came with. It will be my AR 15 sight. The SPARC will replace my Strikefire on the 10/22TD and the Strikefire will float between Mossberg 500 and my Ruger American Rifle.
You cannot go wrong with Vortex and apparently Aimpoint. |
