Thinking of a Aimpoint Pro. Is the mount that is included with it good to go?
Or does it need upgraded?
Thanks~

It's good to go from what I have read and is between absolute and 1/3 co-witness. It is ugly though.

It's actually really good. Just get it and try it out first and if you don't like it then by a LaRue mount. I think it's great, it may not be the prettiest thing but it is very functional and solid.

I just got the PRO the other day.  The mount is the standard Aimpoint mount.  I'll be replacing it with a LaRue LT129 shortly.

Mount's very solid, no issue there.

The torque knob is pretty large. I think I'm going to flip the base to put the knob on the right side.

Hard to beat getting a nice solid mount included with the optic though.

Before you spend money on a different mount, try out the supplied QRP2.  It's an update to the original QRP and most users find that it works well.  If you don't like it, sell it on the EE and get something else. I expected not to like it, but after running one I changed my mind.

I'm just not a fan of the big knob sticking out.  I never thought about putting it up on the EE though...  hmmm.

I see those AP Pro QRP mounts going for $40-50 all the time. I think the guys that purchase the Primary Arms 30mm RDS models can put them to good use. That offsets the cost of a Larue mount quite a bit!

Makes sense, I've got 1 mount for a CompM4 and I'll have this one from my PRO here shortly.
