| this has probably been discussed before , But I haven't been able to find it I have a ar with a carry handle and frt fixed sight. I'm wondering if I remove the carry handle and if I put a flip up rear sight on can I use it with a scope and still use the iron sights with the scope on it.and if so what kind of scope would I look for and will the stock fixed frt sight work with the flip up rear or would it be not adjustable enough to work with the rear flip up sight? I'm a newbe to the ar. any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. I will be using this for long range varmint hunting and SHTF posaibility |
| any reputable rear BUIS will work with the FSB you have on your AR. Also, the FSB won't be noticeable in your FOV if you have a correct height mount such as a burris pepr or larue QD mount. I think you want the centerline of the scope about 1.5" from the top of the rail |
