I have a SDMR I may use this on but am looking primarily for an ACOG model for my RECCE style build with WOA 16" match barrel.   I use 24.0 Varget with 77 Nosler custom competitions as the load and this rifle really shoot.  I have a HCS MK12 MOD1 en route so I'm wanting an ACOG for the RECCE build.  So, my question, will this work for the 16" barrel and 77 grain bullets??  Just trying to see what my best acog model might be for the bullet/bbl length im using.

Thanks for any input,
Alan

as a reference, and not an answer to your question... I have a TA31F red chevron on a 16" mid length...for local matches I shoot either 55 or 62 grain Wolff, whichever I can get cheapest....my 31F is new to me (previously used a TA01) and had only been sighted in at 35y (1" high)...shooting some 62 grain, it was on at 100m and 200m... after the match shot it at a 408m USPSA target sized steel plate... holding the 400m stadia line and upwind edge, it shot 5/5 hits...I'll have to fine tune if we ever get to shoot a match like Ft Benning where there are 10" MGM flash targets at 400, but for now I'm really impressed with the calibration's accuracy... my older TA01 was calibrated for 55 grain bullets, and would hold a 4" five shot group at 400m with S&B 55 grain bullets

Thanks, I realize these aren't precision optics, but am just looking for reviews such as yours.  Seems like this one may be good to go.  Hopefully some others can chime in also.

For my Krieger 16" Recon (with OPS 12th) shooting MK262 the TA11C is essentially dead on.
It's the best choice for a 16" shooting high velocity 77gr ammo as far as I have been able to tell.
Both the TA31 (and F) and the TA55A can't be made to track all the way without some compensation.
