Hey,
I just finished my first AR build in December and just put some MBUS sights on it. I'm also gonna try and put an EO Tech 516 on it, but for right now I wan't to get the MBUS zeroed. What is the normal range for sighting them in. I know how I did it at basic but that was an M16 with a elevation knob. My AR doesn't have one since its a flat top. Thanks I'm still new at this haha RDNCKGUNNER |

I have them on one of my rifles, the Gen 2's I like the rear sight, but the front one seems big and chunky and kinda odd looking on the end of my rifle. This is the 1st time I have ever had these or used any kind of plastic sights. Not sure if I like them really. |

I would dump the MBUS and spend the extra coin on a set of yankee hill or the troy sights. I have had mine for a few years now and I just took a carbine class and I couldnt get them to keep zero. I am thankful I had my aimpoint. They will get you close in a pinch. Just adding my 2 pennies. |

I have used them since they came out and never had one lose zero sounds like you have a defective sight and should call magpul for a replacement. They are also lighter than any other sight I have a set on my 5.45 as the only sight and they are still rockin and rollin! |

Can you link to any proof of this? ETA: I used magpul MBUS and still own them but replaced them with MI flip ups. |

I read that online somewhere, someone did a drop test with the MBUS, TROY and another one. But.....of course a polymer is gonna hold up good when dropped, it has more flexabilty than aluminum.
That's one reason I bought them, but I'm kinda feeling that I kinda "cheaped" out on my sights Here's mine Gen2 MBUS front & rear sights http://i1310.photobucket.com/albums/s656/Jeepy2013/IMG_0794_zps505daa86.jpg |

Hey ... they are supposed to be BACK UP sights, not primary. I really like the spring loaded feature of the Magpul sights. Thats the best feature, they are super easy to deploy unlike some of the metal sights. I have a MI on my other M4 and you have to fumble around with it alittle to deploy it. |
