Noob to this board and holgraphic sites in general. I received an EoTech 512 for Christmas. Upon removing from the case i noticed this "anomaly" on the upper and right side border of the holographic window glass. My experience with EoTech is strictly from my internet research. I never saw anything like this in my research and searches for common manufacturers defects yield nothing like this. When I received this it was the first time I physically put my hands on a Eotech. Since then I have looked at other Eotech models (can't find a 512 on the shelves anywhere). Anybody familiar with this issue, I'm assuming it is a defect because I don't see this on other models. I have tried multiple times to take pictures of this problem but they just don't show up when a picture is taken. Imagine the look of air bubbles under the protective film that covers electronics, that would be the best wa y to describe it. Originally that is what i thought it was until realizing the glass window was not protected by film. Any ideas please tell me this isn't normal because it is quite distracting. Thanks in advance
