I want to run an anti-reflection device on my recently purchased Aimpoint PRO. There are two kinds on the DSG site-one with a cover and one without a cover. What I want to know is if I can just purchase the one without the cover and install it on my PRO and then put the flip down cover on the end of that. I ordered my PRO a month ago and have not had hands on it yet as I am deployed.
I Googled and searched this and couldn't see anything about this. ARD http://dsgarms.com/ProductInfo/AIM12239.aspx ARD with cover http://dsgarms.com/ProductInfo/AIM12462.aspx ETA- Discreption for M68 ARD. Last line says does not impede use of flip covers....so I may have found the answer. But still want someone to clarify that may have them. Aimpoint M68 Killflash ARD Part of the military issue M68 package, the Killflash ARD (Anti-Reflective Device) utilizes an honeycomb pattern to minimize target-view reticle signature and reflection from the glass. Light can only enter at an extreme acute angle, making it nearly impossible for an angled reflective glare to form, or a reticle signature to escape uninhibited. The Killflash ARD simply screws into your Aimpoint Comp-M/XD/M68 and does not add length, nor impede the use of flip covers. |

The one w/o cover will fit just fine. I just tried mine to be sure but all the Aimpoint PRO is, is a Aimpoint M3 at a fantastic price so same accessories will fit. It's a great opitc but I'm an Aimpoint guy anyway. Merry Christmas to me Be safe over there and if you can't be safe be lethal
