Looking to possibly put a red dot on my Marlin Camp 9. I've never looked threw, used etc any type of red dot.
I want something good and quality but don't want to spend a fortune since gun will not see much use. If a $400 optic can be had used for $250-275 please mention since used doesn't bother me as long as they are in good shape. What models and brands should I look for??? Or if you have better suggestion than a red dot like some kind of high end sights etc please mention them. |

Buy Once Cry Once!!!!!!
Words to live by. I would rather by used quality than new china made crap. My choice would be: Aimpoint Eotech Trijicon in no particular order. The Aimpoints are probably the most rugged and their battery life is simply amazing. But for my diabetic jacked up eyes it can be difficult to acquire the dot quickly in certain backgrounds. The Eotech is by far the fastest the fastest reticule for me to acquire. The 65 MOA is excellent for quick COM shots but you also have the single MOA for precision. Trijicon is also very rugged and there big edge is no batteries required. Ready to roll 24/7/365 . I highly recommend you trying as many as you can to find what works best for you and your needs and eye sight. |
