| Hi all. Great site and discussions here. I've taken loads of info from everyone! I haven't put a round through an AR yet, I'm currently building a Stag piece by piece mostly to get familiar as i go. I have my barrel coming Monday. It's a standard forward grip mostly because I couldn't get a live person at Stag to get my questions answered. I have no carry handle because my intention was to use a Vortex Strikfire. My question is will the factory front sight effect my Vortex or will my view be unobstructed? Thanks in advance! |

If your talking about your rifle is going to have a Stanadard A2 style fixed front sight then yes it will work. Depending on what riser set up you use with the rifle. You will either have absolute cowitness which this picture shows, or if you add the spacer you will get a lower 1/3 co witness. Lots of people shoot with a fixed front sight. The sight picture is not as clear if you had nothing in front of it but completely usable.
