| I am looking for a new scope to mount onto my AR platform. In particular I have been looking at the Barska 3-9x42 AC11668. Has anyone seen or used this scope or something similar? |
| Cant say anything about that model but I tried a couple on my 15-22. I tried the M16 electro red dot and the 4 x 28 elecro red dot scope. The quality was absolutely horrific. Don't do it man. The M16 reticle would lose the center dot when I fired the rifle, then it would come back on, then off ec. etc. Then the whole thing filled up with a red glare. The scope would not hold a zero and this was on a .22. It's just my opinion from my experience with them but I would not buy another one for anything. |

If you want something that will last.. i say look somplace else. (and i am a owner of one). out of the box it looks gtg. however after some use you will see where it fails. I havnt used the scope in question but i have Used the Barska M16 Electro sight. It worked for 1500 rounds than it failed on me. Up untill that point it held zero. but overall for the money you spend theirs other options out their.
Im still using this thing as i was able to swap it out. but im only using it untill i can figure out what sight i want to get. either a acog or aimpoint. |
