Hey guys, so I bought my first RDS; an Aimpoint PRO. So far, seems very awesome! I've yet to take it out to the range though. I have a question... when I have the brightness level up (8/9 - sometimes @ 7) I can pickup red "blemishes." They appear as dots in the video. The video didn't pickup the 3rd blemish that I can see with my eye. Is this normal?

I had an old Aimpoint at one time I bought used, I can't
remember the model number it had a 10 moa dot in it. That sight had the best dot in it of any red dot I have ever used including my comp ML 2, no glare perfect and crisp... I should have hung on to it for a shotgun sight. |

I have mine set at 4 and the dot looks perfect while magnified. This is of course with ideal lighting conditions. Also the lower the setting the smaller the dot appears so the magnifier doesn't make the dot look 3X bigger, it actually allows you to make it smaller and more crisp. |
