If I plan on ever putting a scope on my rifle, would the FSB get in the way, or be a non-issue? I'm in the process of shopping for barrels and that will determine whether I get one with FSB or not.


Primary purpose of the scope will be for deer season. Red dot will be on during the remainder of the year.

And even when you can see it, it isn't necessarily a problem.  I use a 1.5-6x with a fixed FSB, and although I can see the FSB through the scope on the lower magnification range (below 3x in my case), it's low in the field of view and very out of focus.  Not an issue for me, even at 1.5x.
