I'm looking to put a Primary Arms 3x on my next build.  I do have a carry handle and can mount it there while maintaining open rear sight on the handle.

Is there another option that will hold any acog or equivalent at a level and maintain open rear sight picture?  I realize my language may be a little unclear––I want to use another rear sight that I have instead of a carry handle, but still have the scope high enough to see through.

If you're talking about the front to back hole in the mount that's part of the optic, I don't think there is a mount that will give you the height.  However, if you want a damned good optic mount for something that uses an ACOG mounting system, there's only one option in my opinion:  Bobro.  I have one for my TA33G-H and the thing is rock solid and makes every other QD mount that I've had over the years (LaRue and ARMS) look second rate.

Other than a carry handle, the Surefire 45 degree offset sights, and KAC offset sights, and other 45 degree mounted irons.

With a QD mount like LaRue and Bobro, it's fast to remove the sight from the receiver, maybe not as fast as tilting the rifle 45 degrees.

Or you can get a TA01ECOS or TA31ECOS that have built-in backup iron sights AND a red dot on top, three sights in one

When and where did you get a Bobro mount for your TA-33? Been meaning to order one since I found out they were scheduled for release but thought they were still unobtanium. Details man, we need details. And I need a higher mount for my ACOG.

Check out SWFA, they had them two weeks ago when I ordered mine.  Bobro makes them (both a high and a low mount) for Trijicon - his name is on one side and Trijicon's is on the other.

Hope this helps!

It sure does.  Finally got off my butt and ordered a Bobro mount for my TA-33, picked up one for my Aimpoint while I was at it.  Love the one I have for my 1x4, and don't think I'll be using any other mounts from here on out.

Anyone need an LT ACOG mount?  I'll have one for sale as soon as my order arrives.

Now if only Bobro would unass their assembly lines with an Aimpoint Micro mount I'd be all set.
