Hey guys,   I was thinking about removing my front A2 sight and replacing it with a flip up.
What are your thoughts on this?  
Waste of time?
Can I remove the front sight and put a new low profile gas block on myself?

I have a Spikes Tac, with Daniel Defense Omega 9.0 rail.

Yes. As long as you can get your current FSB off (sometimes the taper pins are a real pain to remove) then you can replace it with a low pro gas block or one that you describe. There is a tacked thread in the Build it Yourself forum.
