| Finally got my RM07 today just waiting on the mount to put on my acog. I need help with a question though. Is it supposed to come with a bottom plate? Because all there is, is exposed bottom where the battery is. I know that it will be covered up when it is on the mount but I just thought it would have some sort of bottom? Any information would be greatly appreciated. |
| A few places recommend putting a piece of electrical tape on the mount-area below the battery. I'm not sure why––could be to give the battery a little more protection from heat, but I've seen that's how they ship from a few places that do the mounts directly into milled pistol slides. I have my RM07 on a glock19 and an RM06 on my AR...the mount is supposed to be a cowitness (ADM QD), but really I'd call it a 3/7ths witness...though I'd prefer a 1/3rd or 1/4th. |
