I have purchased a Weaver KASPA scope and I was trying to turn the adjustment knobs.  However they will not turn.  It does say to push down to lock on the knob, but I can't get the knob to lift up so that I can turn them. Has anyone else had this issue or am I just an idiot?  BTW the instructions that came with them suck.

Thanks

Boro

The Kaspa’s have lockdown turrets, the turrets
can be used without tools by pulling the turret knob up (or out) and
making the desired adjustments.

Thanks OlCrow.  I guess my problem is that the turrents seem to be stuck and I don't want to damage them my forcing it to much.  Do I need to loosen the allen screws that are holding the knobs in place?

I don't have one a friend does, he's not home, I tried calling him to ask.

I would think you only loosen the allen screws to zero the knobs after the scope is zeroed. I know he just pulled up, adjusted the turrets and pushed them back down.

Here's Weaver's customer service toll free number, give them a call to be sure.

I have one.... Hes right, they will move up, so pull a bit harder.

Yes, the screws are to reset the zero.

They are a little hard to pull up the first time. I had the same problem. Just pull harder and they will pop up.

I like this scope so far. Don't have it mounted because I don't have the rest of the parts yet.
