Hello all,

Just got a Eotech and had a question about the throw lever.

I put it on my rifle and it wobbled just a tad bit. I than adjusted the screw knob one knotch tighter, which was pretty hard to do. It now feels solid as a rock. I than used the throw lever to try to detatch the optic and it took about 10 seconds of wiggling but the optic eventually came off.  It does not slide off instantly, but takes around 5/10 seconds.

Is this normal?

Thanks!

you just have to find the sweet spot with how tight the adjustment is.  i have an EXPS2-2.  try loosening it just a hair and keep trying to mount/dismount.

The throw lever has to be just right for it to come off easily. Look at it real close.

Normal. I find that if i flip the lever all the way forward on mine it will make it harder to get off.

I have the same exact issue and after wiggling around, it pops off....I am not sure what I am doing to make it pop off, I will pay more attention next time....I am so use to the LaRue throw levers that work like a charm...

The optic is great, the lever is frustrating, a negative for an otherwise perfect set up.
