So, I have both an eotech and and an aimpoint.

The aimpoint is a comp2 and the eotech is a 552.

I want to sell one, to help pay for other things....
Any input on which I should keep and which I should sell? Thy are both brand new so they work perfect. I've used the eotech before but never an aimpoint.

Any input is appreciated! Thx

If it were me, I'd try both out and sell the one I liked less.

Sounds crazy, I know, but that's just me

Keep EOTech since you used it more. You have more experience and more accustomed to using it I presume. If you never used the Aimpoint, get rid of it and stay true to one optic.

keep both of them and sell off some blood or a kidney or something to fund whatever your selling one for!!
But seriously, I would have to run the aimpoint for a few hundred rounds to see which one you like best. I personally like my eotech 552.

Really need to decide for yourself.  Run both & decide. I have both, well had...I sold the AP.

Ah the simplist solution is the best. I'll give  the aimpoint a chance.

Thanks guys

i would keep the aimpoint, they're both rugged optics but the aimpoint's battery life would be the deal breaker in my opinion. i like being able to leave my red dot on for years without worrying about battery life (space for spares in my stock )

Try the Aimpoint.

If you decide the EOtech works better for you, sell them both and buy an EXPS3 model. If the AP works better for you, keep it and ditch the EOtech.

AP battery life is a nice touch, but I'd consider it a bonus rather than a factor. I like to choose what works best for me. Same with cars... wouldn't be caught dead driving a Prius, I dont care how good of mileage it gets. I still choose to drive a gas guzzling RX8 and I love that car.

My eotech went tits up at the range yesterday. The circle/ dot became distorted  (kinda 'smeared' looking) and blurred, then shut off. Changed the batteries, same thing. I always liked the open field of view and big circle/dot with the eotech. I'm going with the aimpoint for a replacement.

I trust my XPS 2-0 and would trust an EXPS series, but I'm not so sure about the other models from EOTech.  NSW went with the EXPS after recent trials and most likely the DEVGRU guy that put UBL down was likely looking through an EXPS when he did so that's good enough for me.

Sell both and get either either an Aimpoint PRO or XPS series EOTech depending on whichever reticule you like.
