Will the LT Mounts work fine for the new 1-6 and 5-20 SWFA scopes? I've just about talked myself in biting the bullet and purchasing both. Just wondering if I should go with the LT Mounts or the SWFA Mounts.

Do you have a link to these "SWFA Mounts"?

I have a feeling that the mounts that you are talking about are actually Bobro mounts that are renamed/rebranded with the SWFA name. Here's a GREAT review on Bobro mounts/SWFA mounts. If this is the mount you are talking about ... I would not hesitate to buy this mount.

I own LaRue mounts. They have proven to work and return to zero for me just like shown in this topic. The guy that did that Bobro mount review said he has a LaRue mount review in the works. I am anxiously awaiting that review.

Yes LaRue mounts work well om SWFA scopes.

Im waiting to see if the LaRue SPR or SPR-E works best for the 1-6.

If I use the 1-6 for my AR15 and the 5-20 for the AR10, could i swap them between both rifles depending the occasion. Would i have to zero it back in each different rifle? What i'm thinking is when i go hog hunting, ill take the 1-6 from the AR15 and put it on the AR10.

You can't swap optics that are zeroed on one weapon, put it on another weapon and expect them to be magically zeroed for both weapons. That's just impossible.

You can swap optics (that are zeroed for a weapon) with that same weapon. The point of QD mounts is so that you can remove an optic (that is zeroed for a weapon) and put it back on without having to zero it back in. On & off and return to zero.

Bobro mounts have long been proven to be good to go. I've seen this LaRue return to zero test, but I'd love to see a thorough video test.

So which LaRue Mount would work best for the SWFA 1-6?

A lot of people use the extended mount due to longer eye relief on the 1-4x or 1-6X optics. Both mounts are rock solid. I'd call LaRue up and ask which they recommend for that optic. They know their mounts better than anyone. Before calling I would open up the product page and have the specs for the optic in front of you just in case they ask what the eye relief is.
