I got a fairly good price on an ACOG M150.  I plan on putting this on an A4 build.  However ive read that the M150 is for 14.5 inch barrels.  Will it work or should I sell it and get an RCO A4?

The M150 is sort of the do-all military ACOG that could work on the M4, M16, and M249. I believe the calibration is an average of barrel lengths and thus should be close but not exact. I doubt you will have many problems. The correct ACOG for your 20" is the RCO-A4, but if you got a good enough deal on the M150 I wouldn't sweat it.

Yeah I was looking at an RCO A4 but then this deal came up and some websites said it was for the 20" so I jumped

I wouldn't sweat it. The M150 is a great optic and you should be stoked to have an ACOG. As you can see (look at p. 1-1), the M150 is for the M16 (i.e., 20" barrel), M4 (14.5" barrel), or M249. There is nothing "incorrect" about it for your 20" barrel:
