Looking to see what the best quick-detach one-piece mounting options are. Is the Burris PEPR a good option or does something else work better? I like the American Defense but like rhe Burris price.

When it comes to quick detach mounts you get what you pay for. I personally like the Larue mounts but from what I have heard the ADM mounts are just as good.

the Burris will work but the way they are designed you probably won't get a nice return to zero whenever you remove and replace the mount. If you do get the Burris just work out a system on mounting. such as always use the same slots, always push the mount forward against the slot when mounting, and step up the torques on the nuts when tightening down to the rail, and always finish with the same torque. So use a torque wrench.

I agree with the "you get what you pay for" statement 100%.

I would go with either LaRue or Bobro QD mounts. ADM mounts have been proven to not return to zero like the Bobro mounts or the LaRue mounts. I am anxiously awaiting a thorough video review of the LaRue mounts like the ADM and Bobro mounts.

I would gladly and enthusiastically endorse the Burris QD mounts if they were properly tested for 'return to zero' and proven to actually return to zero like we should expect them to. I am soooooo sick of people saying "mine returns to zero fine" when they are merely trying to justify paying less for a QD mount and have not properly tested it.
