Kinda thinking about getting a set of QD scope rings in 30mm to try and drop a scope down a little bit. Currently have an ADM mount with a vortex viper PST 1-4x24 sitting on top of a vltor CASV-M rail. It sits kinda high right now. Anybody have any experience with QD rings, and will a medium heigh set give me the clearance I need?

Based on recommendations on this forum and a phone call to Larue, I went with the Larue LT104 (1.5").  When I shoulder my Colt, my eye level is looking dead center in the scope.

The problem is the CAV-M rail that makes everything higher. Assuming you have a one piece ADM mount, the LT-104 isn't going to be any lower. You could try using two "Low" Aimpoint mounts from ADM or LT.

I currently have a 1 piece mount. I was looking at 2 individual rings, like the vortex QD rings, in low or medium to drop the scope level down.

LaRue makes a set.  Try this or this.

Yes these are pricey, but I've found that LaRue makes top notch equipment and their return to zero claims are 100% spot on.
